POCATELLO - The prosecution rested its case Thursday afternoon in the Jose Manuel Sanchez trial.

Sanchez, 61, is charged with 112 felony counts of aggravated battery. He is alleged to have scorched a woman with a wood-burning tool every day for nearly four months in late 2007.
