Interstate 15 was the site of a series of rollover accidents Saturday, as police scanner traffic reported roads slick from snow.

In the first accident, a weather-related crash that occurred at 8:52 a.m., a Salt Lake City man driving north lost control of his Dodge Durango after passing a snowplow and proceeded to strike a guardrail before rolling the auto over.

A Rupert driver, who was also headed northbound, then struck the Dodge Durango as he passed the Pocatello Creek exit.

Robert Curtis, a 29-year-old from Salt Lake City, sustained minor injuries and was transported to Portneuf Medical Center, but was later released.

A second series of rollover accidents occurred after 9:30 p.m.

An Idaho State Police dispatcher said three vehicles crashed between the Mink Creek exit and Inkom port of entry. No further information about those accidents were available as of press time Saturday.
