Les Schwab Tire Centers Continues Expansion in Idaho

Customers in Southern Idaho will have greater access to company's tire products and services

Bend, Oregon, March 4, 2009-Les Schwab Tire Centers announced today that it is expanding its operations in Idaho with the opening of a new store in Rathdrum, Idaho. This store marks the 46th Les Schwab Tire Center in Idaho and additional stores are planned for Southern Idaho in 2009-2010.

"Idaho has been a very good market for our company" said Dick Borgman, CEO, Les Schwab Tire Centers. "Customers value our large selection of performance, passenger, light truck and SUV tires and batteries as well as our brake, alignment and shock work. The new store is located at 13500 North Highway 53, on the corner of Highway 53 and Highway 41 in Rathdrum and is open Monday to Saturday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm. Store manager Matt Ratchen is proud of the new retail operation which features eight indoor service and alignment bays and an exterior large vehicle service area. Approximately 15 employees will be recruited and trained on-the-job and in customized Les Schwab training programs.
