POCATELLO - During a Friday morning press conference, Patrick Mcdonald with the U.S. Marshalls office in Boise said a standoff that resulted in the suspect taking his own life Monday resulted when his office tried to serve an arrest warrant.

The pre-trial volation was issued for Sheldon Buckskin, who was awaiting trial after being charges with sexual abuse of a minor. Buckskin also had a prior charge in Utah and was required to resgiste as a sex offender and had not registered in Idaho.
