DRIGGS - A huge first quarter Friday at Teton erased any worries that Marsh Valley would have a letdown after its dramatic win over defending state champion Salmon last week.

The Eagles went on to throttle the Redskins 55-6.

"That was for sure a concern of ours, having a big letdown after a big game," Marsh Valley coach Jason Taylor said. "The kids did a good job and picked up right where they left off."

Running back Nathan Johnson led the onslaught, as he had 20 carries for 137 yards and five touchdowns. Quarterback Philips Hansen added a scoring run and a touchdown pass to Mike McNabb.

Marsh Valley (3-0) will host Star Valley (Wyo.) in its homecoming game next week.
