Idaho State Police are investigating a single-vehicle crash that occurred at 6:23 a.m. on April 1, 2024, on westbound US Highway 20 at milepost 315 near Ucon.

A 67-year-old male, from Rigby, was driving a 1991 Nissan pickup westbound on US20 when it drove over a patch of ice on the overpass. The pickup drove through the median, overturned, and came to rest in the eastbound lanes.

A 55-year-old male passenger, from Rigby, was ejected from the vehicle.

The driver and passenger were transported by ground ambulance to a nearby hospital.

The driver was wearing a seatbelt and the passenger was not wearing a seatbelt.

The eastbound lanes of US20 were blocked for two hours.

Idaho State Police were assisted by the Bonneville County Sheriff's Office and the Idaho Transportation Department.

The crash is under investigation by Idaho State Police.
