POCATELLO — The League of Women Voters of Pocatello invites the public to attend two forums for candidates running in the November general election. The forums are also sponsored by the Pocatello mayor’s office. The first will be held on Sept. 30 at 7 p.m. in the Pocatello City Council Chambers located at 911 North 7th Ave. Candidates from Bannock County Legislative District 28 in contested positions will be featured.

The second forum will be held on Oct. 5 at 6:30 p.m., also at the Pocatello City Council Chambers. This forum will feature candidates in contested positions from Legislative District 29 and the candidates for county coroner.

During each forum, candidates will present their perspectives by participating in a discussion of important issues based on prewritten questions and questions submitted by the audience.

The forum will be streamed live on Pocatello’s YouTube channel at https://www.youtube.com/@PocatelloCommunityMedia/videoson. The recorded video will be available at www.lwvid.org for viewing after the event.
