The Southeast Idaho Youth Football League is accepting registration forms for the upcoming 2026 football season. Registration is for players who will be in the fifth, sixth, seventh and eighth grades in the fall (2026-2027 school year). Teams fill quickly, so don’t wait.

The League is a nonprofit organization, self-funded through player registration fees and donations. It consists of players (grades fifth through eighth) from Aberdeen, American Falls, Bear Lake, Blackfoot, Chubbuck, Firth, Fort Hall, Grace, Malad, Marsh Valley, Pocatello, Snake River, Soda Springs and Westside. The League has grown from 660 players in 1996 to nearly 1,400 players participating in 2025. It is the continued support from the community that keeps the program operating and growing in such a successful manner.

The League has been in existence since 1968. It is one of the largest youth programs in the Northwest. Additionally, it has been an active chapter with the National Youth Sports Coaches Association and the National Alliance Youth Sports since 1997. The League is also a member of USA Football and active with the Heads-UP program. It has approximately 400 coaches, 16 boards of directors, 12 field commissioners, 75 referees and 15 labor workers, all supporting the program. All coaches, directors and field commissioners are volunteers. It also has a very active partnership with Portneuf Medical Center, PMC Sports Medicine Institute and Bingham Memorial Hospital, which have provided outstanding on-field medical services for the League for several years. It also has a partnership with the Bannock County Sheriff’s Department, who provide field security on a weekly basis. It also has playing partnerships with Mini-Cassia Youth Football League and Upper Valley Grid Kid League. This provides the opportunity for its teams to play teams from the Cassia and Upper Valley areas.

Registration for the League cost is $210. The deadline is July 30. Register online today, or you can mail your registration form to the League at P.O. Box 1303, Pocatello, ID 83204.

Adult volunteer coaches are also needed. If you are interested in coaching, please complete the Coaches Application by printing it from the website and mailing to the League. All volunteer coaches are subject to a background check.
