POCATELLO — The Pocatello Art Center at 444 North Main St. in Pocatello is hosting a juried art show of its members during Art Walk on June 6 from 5 to 8 p.m. Come visit and enjoy the views and meet fellow artists, and see how you can be part of the vibrant art community. Questions and answers can be given, and this could be an excellent opportunity to become a member of the Pocatello Art Center.

Stan Cope, a well-known watercolorist has volunteered to take over the position as the Southeastern Idaho Watercolor Society chairperson. Neila Loebs has been the chair for the past 15 years and has offered to step down.

Cope will be present at the Art Walk representing the IWS and is inviting anyone interested in water media classes, workshops or getting more involved the watercolor media to contact him at 208-251-0002 or at email-skicope@gmail.com. A meeting will be planned in the near future. Come share your ideas and enthusiasm. Whether you’re a beginner or advanced artist, all are welcome.
