GRACE - Despite stellar efforts from quarterback Todd Lloyd and wide receiver Dan Hubbard, Grace fell 60-33 to Aberdeen on Friday at home.

Lloyd ran for two touchdowns and passed for another, while Hubbard hauled in two touchdown catches and also scored on an 83-yard kickoff return.

Grace was still within fighting range trailing 34-21 entering the third quarter, but Aberdeen intercepted a Lloyd pass that was tipped to swing momentum back in its favor.

"Our kids didn't give up," Millward said. "I was proud of them. I think we're making strides. There was no quit in them tonight. They played until the final whistle, and I was really impressed about that."

Aberdeen improved to 2-3, 1-1 in the 2A Fifth District. Grace fell to 1-2 and 0-1 in district.
