IDAHO FALLS — Beginning on Friday at 7 p.m., live Christmas music focused on Jesus Christ will return to the Idaho Falls Temple Visitors’ Center. The Visitors’ Center is located at 1000 Memorial Drive in Idaho Falls.

Dating back to at least December of 2012 and then called the “25 Days of Music,” the Visitors’ Center will again host live musical firesides each evening beginning Friday and running through Christmas night. Each night at 7 p.m., local musicians and vocalists will perform a wide variety of Christmas-oriented music.

However, there will not be a musical performance Sunday evening, as the First Presidency of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will broadcast its annual Christmas fireside at 6 p.m., which will be available for viewing in the Visitors’ Center theater.

The performances will be hosted by Elder Craig and Sister Lenora Johnson, Visitors’ Center directors. Dec. 20 is set aside for missionaries serving in the Idaho Falls mission to perform, and on Christmas Eve and Christmas night, the public is invited to come and participate in two evenings of community caroling.

A schedule of performances is also available on the Idaho Falls Temple Visitors’ Center Facebook page. The Visitors’ Center, open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily, is located at 1000 Memorial Drive in Idaho Falls, in front of the temple’s main east entrance.

— Friday: Hal Rowberry, singer-songwriter. Vocals and acoustic guitar.

— Saturday: Sally Close. Harp, vocals and storytelling, “Tales from the Harp.”

— Sunday: First Presidency Christmas fireside at 6 p.m.

— Monday: Jeannine/Matt Larsen and Grace Smyth. Piano and narration.

— Tuesday: Johnson Creek. Acoustic instrumental and vocals, “A Mountain Christmas.”

— Dec. 6: Shelly Norman. Solo harp.

— Dec. 7: Nashina Jagielski and family. Piano, cello, fiddle and vocals.

— Dec. 8: Teton Skye. Acoustic instrumentals and vocals, Celtic folk music.

— Dec. 9: Brian Ricks and friends. Piano and vocals.
