The Boise State football team will kick off and end it’s Mountain West portion of the 2025 schedule on the road, host UNLV on Oct. 18 in a rematch of the 2023 and ‘24 Mountain West Championship games and will not have to play back-to-back games away from Albertsons Stadium during the regular season.

The Mountain West released its conference schedule Thursday, giving teams a look at what their eight-game conference slates will look like. Boise State already knew dates for its four non-conference games — road games against USF and Notre Dame and home contests vs. Eastern Washington and Appalachian State.

Final dates can be moved to Thursdays or Fridays by television networks, but those won’t be announced until later in the spring.

After opening the season on Aug. 31 at USF and hosting Eastern Washington on Sept. 6 for its home opener, Boise State will have its first of two bye weeks in Week 3. After the bye, the Broncos begin conference play with a game at Air Force on Sept. 20.

That will kick off seven straight weeks of games for the Broncos, with non-conference games against Appalachian State and at Notre Dame, taking place Sept. 27 and Oct. 4, respectively. After the Broncos first-ever game against Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana, Boise State returns home for two straight conference games. The Broncos host New Mexico on Oct. 11 and UNLV on Oct. 18, a rematch of the last two Mountain West Championship games, both won by the Broncos.

Boise State is back on the road the next week for an Oct. 25 game at Nevada before hosting Fresno State in the Battle for the Milk Can on Nov. 1.

Boise State gets its second bye week after battling the Bulldogs, then takes a mid-November trip to Southern California to face San Diego State on Nov. 15. Senior Day is scheduled for Nov. 22 against Colorado State and the Broncos close the regular season Thanksgiving weekend with a Nov. 29 game at Utah State.

The Mountain West Championship game is set for the following Friday, Dec. 5, hosted by the team that finishes on top of the conference standings.

This will be Boise State’s final season in the Mountain West before heading to the Pac-12 in 2026. The Broncos’ final four games will all be against teams also moving with them — Fresno State, San Diego State, Colorado State and Utah State.

It will be the first time since 2016 the Broncos do not play back-to-back road games.
