Canada plans to produce millions of drones over the next two years and send a third of them to Ukraine. Prime Minister Mark Carney announced this Thursday during Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's visit to Canada. Ukraine is under mounting pressure from Russia’s intensifying air campaign. Carney said Canada’s armed forces currently have only about 2,000 drones but will need millions in the years ahead. Canada will also provide air-defense interceptors and loan guarantees to help Ukraine buy natural gas. Zelenskyy arrived in Calgary on Wednesday night. His flight from Moldova to Norway was delayed due to a drone incursion.
