A tree from the Nez Perce-Clearwater National Forest has been selected as the U.S. Capitol Christmas Tree, the U.S. Forest Service announced Thursday.

The next Christmas tree to be displayed at the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C., is being sourced from an Idaho forest, and the selection process is underway.
