Santiago RodrÃguez scored in the first half, Gonzalo Tapia had a goal and an assist after the break, and the Columbus Crew beat the Colorado Rapids 3-0. Columbus (6-12-5) snapped a four-game losing streak following a 2-1 win over FC Cincinnati to close out July and a 2-2 draw with Inter Miami to start August. Colorado (10-12-1) dropped to 2-9-1 on the road this season. RodrÃguez used his head to score unassisted in the 22nd minute. Tapia curled in a shot with the outside of his foot in the 82nd, and he found Taha Habroune wide open on a counterattack to cap the scoring in stoppage time. Patrick Schulte totaled two saves for Columbus to record his fourth clean sheet of the season in 23 starts.
