Fuji Japanese Steakhouse & Sushi Bar — a longtime favorite for hibachi, sushi and teppanyaki dining on Bullock Street in Chubbuck — is moving to a brand-new building this June, just down the street from its current location.

The move announced last week on the restaurant’s Facebook page means more space, a fresh atmosphere, and an upgraded dining experience for the crowds that have made Fuji one of the area’s most popular eateries.

The menu that locals love — from the sizzling hibachi grill to specialty rolls like the Burning Man and Fancy Rainbow, to crowd-pleasing classics like filet mignon and fried rice — isn’t going anywhere. It’s just getting a better home.

For those who haven’t been, Fuji offers the full teppanyaki experience: skilled chefs cooking right in front of you at the hibachi table, with plenty of crowd-pleasing flair along the way. It’s a reliable choice for birthdays, family dinners, date nights, or any occasion that calls for something a little more memorable than the usual.
