The College of Eastern Idaho Foundation is bringing a little fizz to philanthropy with a Foundation Fizz Break from 2-4 p.m. Tuesday, May 5, in the CEI Cafeteria in Idaho Falls.

Ellie Daniels, Miss Idaho 2025 and a current CEI nursing student, will be a special guest at the event, which is part of Idaho Gives 2026. The cafeteria is located in Building 3 on the CEI campus at 1600 S. 25th E.

Daniels is set to graduate this December and is passionate about serving her community through health care.

The event features a pay-what-you-can soda bar with signature CEI drinks. Anyone who donates will receive a specialty soda and a free CEI Foundation reusable cup, while supplies last.

This year, every donation goes even further. For the first time, the CEI Foundation Board will match up to $5,000 in gifts made during Idaho Gives—doubling the impact of community support.

“We are grateful for our board of directors, who are motivated to expand our outreach and impact during Idaho Gives 2026,” said Dave Face, CEI Foundation executive director. “We have great people leading us, as shown by this tremendous matching gift.”

Donations support programs like the Center for New Directions, which helps remove financial barriers for students, and campus grants that fund hands-on learning across CEI programs. Last year, the foundation awarded $50,000 in campus grants supporting student success across campus.
