A man hiking along the Menan Butte Trail was injured after he fell about 30 feet Saturday afternoon.  

Madison County Sheriff’s Deputies assisted the Madison Fire Department in searching for the injured man, reported the sheriff’s office on its Facebook page.  

Emergency responders managed to locate the individual, they said.  

“The hiker was successfully rescued and transported by Air Idaho due to his injuries,” the sheriff’s office wrote.  

It wasn’t known about the man’s name, his age, where he was from or the extent of his injuries.  

The sheriff’s office thanked all the first responders for their assistance.  

“Great job to everyone involved in this team effort!” the office wrote.
