ARIMO — A 32-year-old Downey man was airlifted to Portneuf Medical Center Tuesday morning after his SUV left Interstate 15 and rolled multiple times near Arimo, Idaho State Police said.

The crash occurred at 7:15 a.m. on northbound Interstate 15. The man was driving a 2011 Subaru Outback when the vehicle drifted off the right shoulder of the freeway and rolled multiple times, state police said.

The driver was not wearing a seat belt, authorities said.

He was flown by emergency helicopter to PMC. His name and condition have not been released.

Idaho State Police were assisted by the Bannock County Sheriff’s Office, Pocatello Fire Department ambulance and Bannock County Search and Rescue.

The crash remains under investigation.
