IDAHO FALLS — On November 15, 2023, at about 11 p.m., the Idaho Falls/Bonneville County Dispatch Center received a call reporting a traffic accident with injuries.

Due to the location of where the initial call was pinged by the Dispatch Center, the Idaho Falls Police Department, Idaho Falls Fire Department, Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office, and Idaho State Police were dispatched and responded to the area of 2080 E. 65th South, just east of Sandy Downs.

When first responders arrived, they noted a rollover accident involving a single vehicle. The vehicle had five occupants inside at the time of the accident, one adult female and four juveniles.

Ambulance personnel from the Idaho Falls Fire Department transported one adult female in stable condition to a local hospital. One juvenile was also transported by ambulance but died as a result of the injuries sustained in the accident.

The incident is still under investigation, therefore no other information will be released at this time.
