POCATELLO — Idaho State University is inviting students, faculty, staff and the community to celebrate Homecoming this week.

Several events will be held throughout the week leading up to Saturday’s parade and football game.

Homecoming kicked off at 4 p.m. Monday with a barbecue on the Quad followed by Tuesday’s Minute to Win It Games starting in the Pond Student Union and then the Homecoming Bonfire at the ICCU Dome.

At noon Wednesday, a What’s in the Box game will be held at the Pond Student Union. Students will be blindfolded and try to guess what’s inside mystery boxes.

A Lip Sync Battle will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Pond Student Union. Participants must sign up in advance.

Thursday features a Mocktail Mix-Off at noon at the Pond Student Union, where students will sample non-alcoholic mocktails created by clubs and vote on their favorites. The Royalty Pageant will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Pond Student Union.

Friday has three events. The Alumni Recognition Dinner starts at 5:30 p.m. Friday at the Idaho Central Credit Union Bengal Alumni Center.

ISU will recognize the 2025 Homecoming Award winners. Recipients are Dick Luebke for ISU Distinguished Alumnus, Laura L. Hill for President’s Medallion, John Kent for William J. Bartz Award, Catherine Rider for Young Alumna Award, Joanne Tokle for ISU Achievement Award and Dave B. Harris for ISU Distinguished Service Award.

Homecoming Bingo will be held at 7 p.m. Friday at the Pond Student Union. Participants must be at least 18 years old.

The traditional hike to Red Hill starts at 11 p.m. Friday.

The Homecoming Parade starts at 10 a.m. Saturday at the corner of First Avenue and Center Street. The parade route runs along Center Street from First Avenue to 15th Avenue, then along 15th Avenue and Memorial Drive from Center Street to Martin Luther King Jr. Way.

After the parade, the President’s Alumni and Bengal Tailgate starts at 2 p.m. The Homecoming football game will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday at the ICCU Dome, where ISU will play Northern Arizona University.
