POCATELLO — The Pocatello Pirates are teaming up with the Glen Allen Project for a series of thematic potlucks through July.

The pirates are continuing the success of their holiday potluck in December by following up with a tailgate inspired potluck from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Glen Allen Project, 426 W. Lewis St., near Lookout Point. Attendees are encouraged to don their favorite sports team attire and enjoy an evening of finger foods and tailgating classics.

The Pocatello Pirates will collaborate with the Glen Allen Project for additional potlucks throughout the next six months with a diversity-themed potluck on Feb. 21, breakfast theme on March 21, a spring pirate treasure hunt on April 25, a salad spread and food tray theme on May 23, a summer luau potluck set for June 20 and a fiesta taco bar on July 18.

Following their event in July, organizers with the Pocatello Pirates will be seeking a new venue and space to host their future potlucks and are looking to work with local businesses for donations of prepared food.
