The Madison County Sheriff’s Office arrested a 29-year-old Sugar City man on 10 counts of alleged possession of “sexually exploitative material.”

According to its Facebook page, officers arrested Jacob Morris on Wednesday.

“On Jan. 8, Madison Detectives executed a residential search warrant at a home in Sugar City,” wrote the officers.

The following day, Morris was arraigned at the Madison County Courthouse with his bail set at $300,000.

The Madison Sheriff’s Office had received a cyber tip allegedly concerning Morris and the alleged porn from the Idaho Attorney General’s Office ICAC Task Force on October 31, 2025.

During the arrest, Madison County Sheriff’s deputies received assistance from the Rexburg, Chubbuck and Idaho Falls police departments. The Fremont Sheriff and Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office also helped.

“All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law,” stated the Madison County Sheriff’s Office.
