Police Lights ISJ

CHUBBUCK — Police responded to a reported physical disturbance involving two armed men on Friday afternoon only to find out that the weapons were paintball guns.

The incident occurred outside of the Tres Hermanos Mexican restaurant on the 4500 block of Yellowstone Avenue in Chubbuck.

Police talked to the men involved in the incident and no criminal charges were filed.

Chubbuck police and officers from several other local law enforcement agencies responded to an actual incident involving a gunman Friday afternoon in the area of Tank Farm and Batiste roads.

That incident left two people dead and two others wounded before law enforcement officers fatally shot the suspect near the Portneuf River.
