A man was recently injured in a bicycle versus deer accident.
The crash occurred shortly before 9 p.m. on Sept. 23.
Bannock County sheriff’s officials say the man was bicycling north on Mink Creek Road south of Pocatello when he collided with the deer. He subsequently went over the bike’s handlebars and landed on the road.
The man was transported to the hospital with what appeared to be non-life-threatening injuries, sheriff’s officials said. The deer was able to leave the scene on its own.
