Brandy Wertz

Update: 3 p.m.

Bonneville County Sheriff's Deputies have made contact with Brandy Wertz and are no longer needing the public's assistance in locating her.  Again, we appreciate the public's help.

Update from Bonneville County Sheriff's Office:

Thanks to tips from the public we have received information that Ms. Wertz boarded a Grayhound Bus for Portland earlier this week after she was reported as missing.  Law Enforcement has still not made contact with Ms. Wertz to confirm she is safe and we are still working with Law Enforcement Agencies between here and Portland to try and locate her.

The Bonneville County Sheriff's Office thanks everyone for their tips and assistance in this case.

Bonneville County sheriff’s officials are asking the public for help in locating a missing Idaho Falls woman.

They say Brandy Wertz, 40, was reported missing by friends on Sept. 2. Although deputies believe she is still in the Idaho Falls area, they say they haven’t been able to contact her directly to confirm that she is OK.

Sheriff’s officials don’t know if Wertz is using a vehicle to get around.

They are asking anyone with information about Wertz’s whereabouts to call emergency dispatchers at 208-529-1200 and ask to speak with a sheriff’s deputy.
