AMERICAN FALLS — Musicians of all ages are invited to mark America's 250th anniversary by joining the American Falls City Summer Band for its 2026 season.

This year's theme is "America: 250 Years Old." Current band students, American Falls High School alumni, students from other schools with director approval and adults from neighboring communities are all welcome. Participants must have at least one year of band experience.

Rehearsals will be held in the American Falls High School band room from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays in June and July, beginning Monday, June 15.

A dress rehearsal is scheduled for Wednesday, July 29. The final performance is at noon Saturday, Aug. 1, at American Falls City Park.

This year's program features a blend of American classics, cinematic favorites and patriotic tributes, including "America the Beautiful," "Heartland March," "Pirates of the Caribbean" and "Hamilton: My Shot."
