Recently in Idaho, U.S. Energy Secretary Chris Wright wrote that “we will look back in history and remember this pivot … and energy is life.” That is the same propaganda falsehood we were told in the '60s when I was a 10-year-old in Southern Utah during the above bomb testing. When I moved away from that radiated area, I had a goiter, and my mom had thyroid cancer and had to have her thyroid removed.
The people who have died from nuclear radiation are not here to testify, but there are many Downwinders who can testify. Nuclear is not "green" energy. Nuclear energy is not life — it is death.
