POCATELLO — Portneuf Health invites the community to a groundbreaking ceremony for Portneuf Health Now — Chubbuck urgent care on July 9 at 11:30 a.m. The event will take place at the Portneuf Health Now — Chubbuck building site at 230 Bullock St. in Chubbuck, which is next to Texas Roadhouse.

“Opening this urgent care is a continuation of our purpose to deliver world-class care to our community,” said Nate Carter, chief executive officer of Portneuf Medical Center. “We look forward to bringing our exceptional urgent care team and quality services to a secondary location to better meet the health care needs of this region.”

Portneuf Health Now — Chubbuck will be the first site of care in Chubbuck for Portneuf Health. The location was selected to be a convenience for the growing number of patients seeking outpatient care in Chubbuck.

The contractor for this project is Blake Beyer of Beyer Construction. The urgent care is anticipated to open this winter.

Portneuf Health Now is dedicated to providing expert services for patients who need immediate medical attention. Today, patients can visit Portneuf Health Now — Northgate urgent care on the north side of Pocatello to receive care. Northgate offers extended hours and is open on weekends.
