Last week Julie Bench of Tilden Co. was celebrated at her Thirty Flirty Party and Customer Appreciation Bash — a well-deserved recognition for hosting so many downtown events to support local businesses.
In Shelley, it was a busy week, beginning with its Thursday night farmers market, busy as usual. The summer-long raffle cooler is getting fuller each week when new outdoor adventure treasures are added. Also in Shelley was the seconds annual Wheels of Compassion Car Show to raise awareness and funds for Hospice and Palliative Care of Eastern Idaho, the only nonprofit hospice, palliative and grief support care in Eastern Idaho.
