Two separate achievements occurred last week for our first responders. The Fort Hall new fire station was officially inaugurated with tribal blessings, a flag ceremony, an open house for the public, and a traditional hose and push readiness of the station.

Meanwhile, in the Bingham County Jail in Blackfoot, the first Heroes Resilience Room in the nation was officially opened for use. First responders are already using it to mitigate and lower their bodies’ adrenaline and cortisol hormones that block restorative rest and healing.
