The Westside Players in Pocatello will be putting on double feature starting July 6.
“Monica” by Pauline Macaulay, introduces us to Simon, a young man apparently ready to die for love. The urbane older stranger who interrupts his attempted suicide may or may not have saved Simon’s life. In Doug Wright’s “Wildwood Park,” a successful realtor meets what she hopes is a potential buyer for a house with a questionable history. The client seems to have done his homework about the house, but does he know too much? Two intriguing one-act plays to chill a summer’s evening.
The performances will run July 6, 7, 13, 14, 20, 21, 27 and 28 at The Warehouse, 1009 S. Second Ave. in Pocatello.
Tickets are $35 for dinner and the show and $17 for only the show or $10 if you are a student. Cocktails start at 6 p.m., dinner is served from 7 to 7:30 p.m., and the plays start at 8 p.m.
