ABERDEEN - Aberdeen built a 16-point lead on Declo by the end of the first quarter and went on to win easily 74-65 on Friday.
The Tigers were led by 18 points from Steven Elliott and 17 points from Aaron Schritter. Schritter also grabbed 12 rebounds.
"I think the difference was Schritter's play," coach Quinn Aldous said. "Anytime you get that from your posts, you're looking good."
Aldous was also impressed with Elliott, who had a fabulous game despite fighting recent injuries.
"He's a big difference-maker for us," Aldous said.
With the win, Aberdeen improved to 4-1. It next plays at North Fremont today.
