Walking dogs and climbing peaks

POCATELLO — Join Healthy City, USA, on Wednesday, July 27, for our Wednesday Night Dog Walk! We will meet at the Portneuf Wellness Complex under Pavilion 2 at 5:30 p.m. All dogs are welcome — big, small, tall, little, you name it! All dogs must be on a leash and please bring baggies to clean up after your dogs. There will be treats for the dogs and Healthy City, USA, swag for the owners. Grab the family and head up to the Wellness Complex this Wednesday to get some exercise in!

There still is plenty of time left in the summer to start and complete Portneuf Peaks Club! Portneuf Peaks Club is a chance to get outside, get active and explore some of the local peaks surrounding Pocatello and Chubbuck. Your goal is to hike to the top of Chinese

Peak, Kinport Peak and Scout Mountain before the first snowfall. Once you get to the top of each peak, take a selfie at the top and post it in the comments on the pinned Portneuf Peaks Club post on Portneuf Health Trust's Facebook page @PortneufHealthTrust. Once you've completed all three peaks, you will get an awesome Portneuf Peaks Club member prize! Grab a group of friends and make a day out of it! Have a great last week of July!
