The Blackfoot Rec Center is rebranding as Jump In after purchasing the trampoline center formerly located in the Pine Ridge Mall in Pocatello.

Brittin Winn, one of the owners of the rec center, said the facility at 1350 Parkway Drive has been open since July 2024 but didn’t operate at full capacity until October.

“We’re a family fun center in Blackfoot,” Winn said. “We are just working super hard to create a place where families can come together.”

Winn said she wanted to open the Blackfoot Rec Center because there wasn’t a place like it in Blackfoot. She wanted a place to take her kids where they could have fun.

“We had to go to Pocatello or Idaho Falls,” Winn said. “It was a no-brainer for us (to acquire Jump In). That’s what we’re excited about is to create a place for families.”

Jump In was formerly located in the Pine Ridge Mall in Pocatello. It closed after the mall temporarily closed for construction and was ultimately demolished.

“We just purchased it and brought it here,” Winn said.

Winn said she looks forward to rebranding as Jump In because the trampoline center has amenities for people of all ages. It isn’t limited to one age group and can be enjoyed by children and adults alike.

“What it did for us was bring us the opportunity to entertain entire families,” Winn said. “It really brought in elements that everyone can enjoy.”

The business is open seven days a week from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday through Sunday.

“We do open play consistently as well as private parties,” Winn said. “We’re open all the time — seven days a week.”

The best way to schedule a private party at the Blackfoot Rec Center is to send a message through Facebook Messenger.

“We’re working on getting a website that’s more user friendly,” Winn said.
