Gunnar Trulson’s walk-off bunt sparked the Single-A Pocatello Razorbacks’ doubleheader sweep Monday at Halliwell Park against Bear Lake.

Trulson’s RBI bunt single in the bottom of the seventh inning gave Pocatello an 11-10 win in the opener. Bear Lake led the game 10-5 after five innings, before the Razorbacks scored five runs in the sixth and one in the seventh.

In the nightcap, Pocatello racked up 18 hits to win 12-5. Trulson, Tyler Schell, Luke Davis and Aaron Kearns had three hits apiece.

The Razorbacks (29-9-1) host Marsh Valley for a doubleheader Wednesday at Halliwell Park.

POCATELLO RUNNIN REBELS 6, UPPER VALLEY 1

Six pitchers combined to stymie Upper Valley in the Double-A Pocatello Runnin Rebels’ 6-1 road win Monday.

Runnin Rebels pitchers Trei Hough, Payton Cleaves, Kyler Knowles, Braxton Wilhelm, Jaxon Christensen and Dylan Jester combined to hold Upper Valley to two hits. Upper Valley’s lone run was scored in the opening inning.

Christensen went 2 for 4 at the plate for Pocatello (29-16), which hosts the Area C district tournament Thursday-Saturday at Halliwell Park.

EAST IDAHO 12, BLACKFOOT 11

A ninth-inning walk-off downed Double-A Blackfoot, 12-11 on Monday at the East Idaho Rockies.

Blackfoot led 6-3, 8-5, 10-5 and 11-7 before East Idaho rallied. The Rockies cut the gap from 11-7 to 11-10 with three runs in the seventh, and won it with two runs in the ninth.

Carlos Pimentel went 3 for 3 with a double and two RBIs for the Broncos (10-20), who play Thursday-Saturday in the Area C district tournament at Halliwell Park.

MARSH VALLEY 3, SODA SPRINGS 0 (2)

Marsh Valley beat Soda Springs 3-0 in Monday’s rain-shortened game at Soda Springs.

The game was called with Marsh Valley leading 3-0 in the top of the second. Karter Howell and Payton Howe each had an RBI for Marsh Valley in the opening inning.
