AMERICAN FALLS — The Pocatello POW-MIA Awareness Association has announced a POW-MIA Awareness Motorcycle Rodeo set for July 25 at the Power County Fairgrounds.

The Pocatello POW-MIA Awareness Association is an area nonprofit dedicated to the financial support and public awareness of the Prisoners of War and Missing in Action issue, the Pocatello Veterans Home and charities in the local community that need support.

The association is guided by the principles of freedom, sacrifice, liberty and brotherhood to ensure it accomplishes its mission and stays focused on the issues at hand.

The event will include a motorcycle rodeo, vendors, a tribute ceremony, food, raffle prizes and live music provided by Scarlett Rain.

“Come enjoy the camaraderie of veterans, the joy of patriotism and the spirit of freedom we have as Americans,” a POW-MIA Awareness Association press release said. “Everyone is invited to join us at our family-friendly event as we move forward in our endeavor to fulfill our mission.”

The association is still seeking sponsorships and volunteers for the event. Organizers said any and all contributions are appreciated and will be recognized.
