BLACKFOOT — A 71-year-old Blackfoot man with dementia and PTSD who had been missing for more than 24 hours has been found safe, the Bingham County Sheriff's Office announced Tuesday morning.

Raymond Robinson was located safe around 11 a.m. Tuesday, according to the sheriff's office. No further details about where or how he was found were immediately available.

Robinson had last been seen Sunday night at the Birch Creek Campground on Highway 28 in Clark County, approximately 30 miles west of Dubois, after leaving to go fishing.

The Bingham County Sheriff's Office issued an endangered missing person alert late Monday night, citing his dementia, PTSD and severe hearing impairment.

Robinson is described as being 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighing 180 pounds, with blue eyes and gray hair. He was last seen wearing Wrangler jeans, a plaid shirt and a Vietnam veteran's hat and may have been driving a red 1997 Ford Explorer.
