Floyce Gallagher, wife of one-time interim Idaho State University President Michael Gallagher, and a former teacher at Franklin Middle School, was shot and killed Saturday in Grand Junction, Colo.

According to the Grand Junction Police Department, the Gallaghers were heading out of town Saturday morning on a vacation with friends, Terry and Linda Fine. The Gallaghers went to the Fine home to pick up their friends before leaving town.

It was then that a man approached the two couples.

"The suspect shot Dr. Terry Fine, Linda Fine and Floyce Gallagher in the driveway," was written in the release from Grand Junction police.
