Bonneville County sheriff's deputies are asking for the public's help locating a 20-year-old Idaho Falls man who has not been seen or heard from since this past weekend.

Tayson Paul Thomas was last seen around 2:30 a.m. Sunday near Mitchell's Restaurant and the On the Run Truck Stop on Iona Road near Lewisville Highway. According to the Bonneville County Sheriff's Office, Thomas fled the area on foot after spotting law enforcement officers — apparently to avoid arrest on an outstanding warrant.

Friends reported Thomas missing Wednesday morning.

His cell phone was found at a local residence and deputies searched the area but did not locate him. Friends and family have had no contact with Thomas since Sunday.

Thomas is approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs 140 pounds. He's bald with a goatee and has multiple tattoos.
