The Week in Photos

On Sept. 12, the America250 event was a remembrance of those who died in the 9-11 attacks and of how the nation rallied to declare to the world that we are still standing. There were brief remembrances shared of the historical, military, local, farm and personal perspectives. Last Saturday the Presto homestead of early settlers Nels and Emma (Thompson) Just had an open house, which brought out many of their descendants to share stories of these early settlers. Later that day in Blackfoot, Angel and Jenny Dorantes found out they are the new owners of the 2025 Jeep Compass raffled off by the Tadd Jenkins car dealership. All the proceeds of the raffle above the threshold now will go to The Village and the Greater BlackfootChamber of Commerce.
