The U.S. Mint has started selling a $1 coin to celebrate America's 250th birthday, featuring President Donald Trump's face on one side. The coin's design, approved by the U.S. Commission of Fine Arts, includes Trump's visage as “heads” and the Great Seal of the United States as “tails.” The coin stirred criticism because federal law bars living presidents from appearing on currency, but exceptions exist. The coins, honoring American heritage, became available Wednesday. A roll of 25 coins costs $61, and a bag of 100 costs $154.50. Special-issue coins are hidden in some rolls and bags.
