Highland graduate and future Ohio State Buckeye Tommy Togiai played Saturday in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl in the Alamodome in San Antonio.
The defensive tackle, who represented the West squad, had three total tackles, two solo tackles, one assist and one forced fumble in his team's 17-16 win over the East. Togiai's three total tackles tied for fourth on the West, and his forced fumble came in the first quarter, when he ran down East quarterback Trevor Lawrence from behind.Â
The All-American Bowl featured the top prep football players in America, selected by invitation.
Togiai begins classes Monday at Ohio State.
