Preston and Bear Lake received all nine first-place votes in their respective classifications in the latest high school boys basketball media poll, released Tuesday. The Indians (17-0, 7-0 4A District 5-6) are the top team in 4A, while the Bears (14-3, 4-0 2A District 5) are the No.1-ranked squad in 2A.
Snake River is the third local team to earn the No. 1 honor this week, with the Panthers (15-2, 1-0 3A District 5) totaling five first-place votes to earn 3A’s top spot. Shelley (12-5, 2-0 3A District 6) is the No. 3 team in the classification.
Grace (13-6, 1-0 1A DI District 5-6) is the fourth-ranked team in 1A DI after a No. 5 ranking last week.
Firth received votes, but was not ranked this week.
