Bannock Development will host its 28th annual Economic Symposium on Friday. This year’s featured presentation will be given by Gov. Brad Little and will feature progress on his plans for Idaho’s economic development.

Idaho Central Credit Union is the premier sponsor of the Economic Symposium.

Art Beery, general manager of Cole Chevrolet, will be the master of ceremonies for the symposium.

To spur economic growth, Little has advocated conservative budgets, strengthening agriculture, keeping energy costs low and keeping our children in school and in Idaho. The governor has made great efforts to market Idaho agricultural and high-tech products abroad. The audience will hear from the governor about current developments in fulfilling his vision for prosperity in Idaho.

The event will be held at the Stephens Performing Arts Center. Doors open at 10 a.m. for registration, networking and visiting sponsor booths. The program begins at 11 a.m., with heavy hors d’oeuvres to follow.
