The FSCP program provides product and skills training as the foundation for career-long learning and helps advisers and agents succeed in their careers.

Candidates for the FSCP designation must complete a designation exam as well as a series of individual course or module exams to earn the right to use this mark. Designees must also agree to adhere to continuing education and ethics requirements. Candidates learn a wide range of topics, with curriculum addressing such concepts as product solutions, ethics and practice standards, available government programs, retirement planning, practice management, financial and estate planning, divorce planning, long-term care, business insurance, healthcare, social media and much more.

To earn the FSCP designation, candidates must complete 10 educational units and The Ethical Advisor module with exams, the Certification Course, and the final designation exam.
