The Easter Egg Eggstravaganza is coming to Old Town on Saturday! Participating merchants will have filled Easter Eggs for the kids beginning at 11 am until all of the eggs are gone. The Pocatello Art Center, 444 N. Main St., is open from 10 am to 4 pm Monday through Friday. For the entire month of March they are displaying the High School Art Show. You are invited to stop and see all of the other great art created by our area high school students.

On Wednesday afternoons at the Pocatello Art Center, is offering a new pay as you go photography class taught by Richard Albright. Learn to use your digital camera and have your photography questions answered by an expert. The class is from 1 to 3 pm every Wednesday, the cost is $12.50 per session. Just come to the Art Center and take the opportunity to improve your photography.

The First National Bar, 232 W. Center, will host “As Is” live on stage both Friday and Saturday nights. Shows start at 9 pm.

Portneuf Valley Brewing will host Whistle Pig on Friday and Funk:30 on Saturday evening. Both shows start at 9 pm with no cover. Arrive early to enjoy a wonderful meal and get a great seat.

The Portneuf Valley Farmers Market is pleased to announce their Spring Vendors Meeting will be held on Saturday, April 7. The meeting will begin at 11 am at the Old Town Pavilion, 420 N. Main St. Current vendors, please bring a potluck dish to share. The Market will be accepting new produce, agriculture and food vendors and those folks are welcome to attend the meeting and learn more about the Portneuf Valley Farmers Market. Spring is right around the corner and we are excited to bring our community another fun spring, summer and fall full of fresh local produce and more!

The Friends of the Marshall Public Library invite the public to their Spring Used Book Sale which will be held Thursday through Saturday, April 19-21. The sale will be held in the Marshall Library, 113 S. Garfield St., Pocatello.

Pocatello’s only 5K obstacle race is coming on Saturday, April 28. Remax Country and Guild Mortgage present the 6th Annual Urban Invasion Obstacle Challenge. The Portneuf Valley Farmers Market will open its season on Saturday, May 5. The market will be open from 9 am to 1 pm every Saturday through the end of October.

Bannock Civitan’s Revive @ 5 Summer Concerts will kick off on Wednesday, May 23 at 5 pm. Live music, great food and fun for the entire family every Wednesday from 5-8pm at the Old Town Pavilion.
