Dalton Jones’ walk-off triple ended the day with a win for the Double-A Pocatello Runnin Rebels, who went 1-1 on Saturday at a tournament in Twin Falls.
In the 7-6 win over Washington’s Lower Columbia, the Runnin Rebels squandered a 3-0 lead and trailed 6-4 heading to the bottom of the seventh inning. Trei Hough’s two-run home run in the seventh tied the score and sent the game to extra frames.
In the ninth, Jones’ one-out triple scored Nick McAdam from first base.
Pocatello started the day with a 7-5 loss to Taylorsville (Utah). Taylorsville scored six runs in the fifth frame to zap Pocatello’s 3-1 lead.
The Runnin Rebels (26-14) play a doubleheader Wednesday at Twin Falls.
KIMBERLY 9, POCATELLO RAZORBACKS 8

The Single-A Pocatello Razorbacks split Saturday’s home doubleheader with the Kimberly Astros, losing 9-8 and winning 13-1 in five innings at Halliwell Park.
In the loss, four Razorbacks errors led to seven unearned runs for the Astros. Pocatello trailed 4-0 and 9-5 before trimming the lead to 9-8 in the sixth inning.
In the win, the Razorbacks scored all 13 runs in the first three frames of the game. Scott Baker, Aaron Kearns, Kobe Holt and Tyler Schell had two hits apiece, while Jett Anderson had a game-high four RBIs.
The Razorbacks (23-7-1) host Soda Springs for a doubleheader Monday at Halliwell Park.
ROCK SPRINGS (WY) 6, MARSH VALLEY 5 (5)
MARSH VALLEY 13, MADISON 2 (5)
Single-A Marsh Valley went 1-1 on Saturday at a tournament in St. Anthony, losing 6-5 to Rock Springs, Wyoming, and beating Madison 13-2. Both games lasted five innings.
In the loss, Marsh Valley rallied from a 4-1 deficit and held a 5-4 lead heading to the bottom of the fifth inning. Rock Springs scored twice in the frame to walk off with the win.
Marsh Valley’s victory was buoyed by scoring eight runs in the second inning. Daxton Woodmancy went 3 for 3, while Karter Howell held Madison to five hits in a complete game from the mound.
Marsh Valley (16-2) plays a doubleheader Wednesday at Malad.
