POCATELLO — The Pocatello Music Club is set to hold a free community piano tuning workshop from 9 to 10 a.m. Oct. 12 at the Piano Gallery, 388 Yellowstone in Pocatello. Refreshments will be served.
The guest presenter will be Colin Brien. Mr. Brien is a well-known musician in the area. He is a piano technician, musician, composer, band and orchestra teacher, private music teacher, clinician and adjudicator.
The workshop will cover the following and more:
— Why tune your piano and how often.
— How to maintain your instrument.
— How is sound made.
— What a piano technician does.
— Question and answer.
— Connect with teachers and friends.

There will be a drawing for free piano tuning. Must be present to win.
