POCATELLO — Idaho state Sen. James Ruchti and state Rep. Nate Roberts are excited to invite the public to their 2024 legislative town halls.

This series of events will serve as a cornerstone for community engagement and legislative discussions. These town halls will be held in Pocatello City Council chambers at Pocatello City Hall, 911 N. 7th Ave.

The next event will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. this Saturday, and the second event will be held 3 to 5 p.m. April 6.

Attendees will hear short speeches from Sen. Ruchti and Rep. Roberts, followed by an open-ended Q&A session, focusing on key issues in the 2024 Idaho Legislature.

The town halls aim to address significant issues such as school facilities, state budgets, property taxes and other prominent legislative matters of 2024. These discussions are crucial for community awareness and engagement.

Speakers’ background

Sen. James Ruchti: James is a dedicated family man, former military intelligence officer, trial lawyer and small business owner. As an avid CrossFit enthusiast and outdoorsman, he balances his professional life with physical activities and adventures with his family.

Rep. Nate Roberts: With a background as an electrician and union officer, Nate is a strong believer in the value of hard work and family. He is committed to ensuring that Idahoan families reap the benefits of their labor.
